The pattern of this kilim is predominantly abstract, And the clever arrangement of colors is done in such a way that artistic expression takes precedence over addressing the indigenous beliefs, found in most persian weavings. The composition is created by three distinct central medallions aligned in a red background. Kilim weaving is common among rustic and semi-nomadic women of Khalkhal ,this village is one of the productive kilim centers in the country.
