History

Ali Akbar Abbasi has started his experience in tribal rugs in Tehran in 1977. where he has followed the principle of rug business from his father. he has opened a gallery in Hyatt hotel, where most of the foreigners used to accommodate at that time, being exposed to tourists has led him to know many experts who were specialists in tribal arts ( john wertime & Alan marcuson). this opportunity brought about some interest for Akbar to pursue the origins of tribal art seriously, available among nomads of Iran at the time.
