the design of this kilim characterising Saveh flatweaves.outlined with rhombus shape medallions that aligned vertically across the field, replete with arrays of S like motifs adorning the background , , most of saveh kilims have used stepped medallions, usually are divided into four rhombus shape medallions and crab like motifs are centred within toothed lozenges , this structure can be seen in most of turkish weavings spreaded from Anatolia to central Asia. Kilims of saveh region are extremely fine and are coloured brightly ,often with strong red and blue nuances , they are usually long and narrow.
