Weaving of this kilim is appropriated to Bijar and its suburbs. Some of these kilims are simple copies of Tekab kilims with a coarse wool and dark colors. Some unique and outstanding kilims of this kind have slit, woolen warps. Kilims of Tekab region could not be easily distinguished from similar Kurdish kilims of Bijar district ,they have mostly two margins , are constructed usually long and narrow with rustic principals of design, structured with central massive medallions which are typically a significant feature of Bijar suburb flatweaves. Authentic bijar kilims can be Distinguished by their luminous naturally dyed colours like madder pink and fantastic grass green. In the field of this kilim , rural elements of design are pattered throughout the kilim which are particularly diamond shaped and are spread in such a way that could spin the eye in a vertical movement. In these handweavings interlocked margins are used.
