- This gabbeh should be considered as a fine example of Lori handwoven art. Lor tribes should be considered among the earliest inhabitants of Zagros slopes , some prehistoric cave paintings in Loristan have similarities with this gabbeh. The simplicity of this rug may well be a reflection of simple nature of nomad life. Improvisation is main feature of design , it shows how the weaver changes her mind, shifting from one pattern to another. The weaver did what she pleases, she appreciates her freedom of choice. creativity shown by the weaver is exceptional.
